      After three decades of selling and servicing pianos Mr. McClure has some very focused ways of helping his customers.   First off, if you come to the store to see what's for sale, don't think of Mr. McClure as a salesman but rather as a piano therapist.  He will take whatever time is necessary to get to know what it is that you want in a piano with regards to its looks, how it sounds, how it plays, what size you need for your situation, and how much you hope to spend.  After he assimilates your information he will be more likely to make a recommendation as to what you need rather than what he wants to sell you like some other stores in the area.   One local dealer is so bent on selling you his  line of new Yamaha digital pianos that he even brings his literature along when he comes to tune your acoustic piano so that he can automatically switch you over by condemning your piano.   Is that really right?  Mr. McClure doesn't think so.  When he's in your home to service your piano that is the mentality in which he remains focused, not using the time there to lure you into something else.  And that's what you really want, isn't it?  Of course!

     Now if Mr. McClure does find significant problems with your piano he will do one of two things.  First, he will take the time to diagnose your piano's problems and write them down so that when he returns to his office he can prepare a FREE WRITTEN ESTIMATE to send to you or secondly if the piano is in fact to the point of no return, he will take the time to show you what is wrong and why it is not technically or financially feasible to repair.  Surely you would concur with this approach!

      Because Mr. McClure enjoys playing the piano so very much and knows how rewarding it can be on an individual basis, he is committed to helping you have a piano in the best condition it can possibly be.  And if you don't have a piano, he's ready to help you select a good piano, new or used, or provide the necessary services to move and prepare if it's one you've selected privately.
