This 1875 Broadwood 7' Grand with a rosewood cabinet is probably the most unique and rare piano in the entire tri-state area. Built in London, it was called a "semi-grand" by the manufacturer and is the same exact size and model Broadwood grand that CHOPIN had in his flat in London where he lived during the last years of his life. So if you want to hear and play a piano like Chopin was accustomed to, you need to come see this one. Mr. McClure installed new tuning pins along with new bass strings (which you can clearly see in the picture) . Currently priced at $19,995.
Below is a 1853 Woodward & Brown square grand with rosewood cabinet that spent most of its life in a hotel in Mt. Jackson, VA. Because the hotel was on Rt. 11, the major north/south route for the Confederate Army, Mr. McClure has told others that quite certainly this piano entertained Generals Lee and Jackson on numerous occasions. Quite possibly they plotted some of their strategy while smoking cigars and listening to this piano being played at the opposite corner of the hotel's lobby. As Mr. McClure says, you can't prove he's right but you certainly can't prove he's wrong either! Currently reduced to just $5000.
Here's a very beautiful M.P. Moller reed organ that Mr. McClure has restored by rebuilding the bellows. It has a walnut cabinet and 11 stops. It was quite magnificent in its day, even built locally at the Moller Pipe Organ factory. Currently priced at $2995.
This small Estey reed organ with its walnut cabinet has also had its bellows rebuilt by Mr. McClure and it sings like the day it was made in Brattleboro, VT. Mr. McClure also has one of these Estey organs with its full mirrored top in his home and he loves to play Christmas carols on it. Currently priced at just $595.
